v0.04:

The next update will be the internet update. That extra button on the phone will finally start working. That will be the new method of increasing the social stat and I'll be adding new "spicier" Eva outfits that wouldn't be available in stores. Other than that I'll be finishing Alex and Hope's storylines as well as introducing several new characters. One of which is already in the game for the eagle eyes in the audience.

Looking Back:

I've been working on Frustration for an amount of time I probably couldn't tell you. Probably about a year before I even released, so just under a year and a quarter in total. It was a little project I kinda ticked away on casually for a while before actually committing to creating something real. So, it wasn't a full years worth of hard work but it's been stewing in my brain for that long we'll say. I'd like to say I had a good idea of what I was getting into and I think I did on the technical side, but tbh I probably should've created like a pilot game or something beforehand to get used to all of the peripheral things I couldn't practise like patreon and discords and promotion and release schedules etc. but we move.

I'm happy with the game so far. I'd love to say it's the best game ever made and it is... lol jk. It's pretty decent in my opinion but I'd love to get more of your opinions. It sounds weird to say and I'm not trying to brag or anything but I haven't really received negative feedback. To date I've received one properly negative comment about the pacing. Which is a fair criticism. It's a kind of grindy point 'n' click and that might not be your thing. I've tried to cut that stuff down as much as makes sense story wise but if you have any suggestions on how to break up some of the grindier sections let me know. Other than that nobody's really making much noise, positive or negative, and I don't know if that's a good thing. It could be that nobody's playing the damn game! Although downloads say otherwise. At least a a few hate comments would be nice so I can know where I stand? Please leave a hate comment down below.

Looking Forward (Spoilers Ahead):

In this I want to lay out my rough roadmap of the game:
The Naomi update:
After the internet update will be Naomi's story. It will be a mandatory story, but I'll put an option for whether or not you want to get with her. Either way she'll end up at home, working in the cafe and being friends with Eva. If you do want to get with her, she'll also have some Mana collections scenes like the Mistress and possibly shared scenes between the two. Maybe even some punish scenes, I'll see how we go.

The Eva Update(s):
Yup, the question on everybody's lips. Will MC get together with Eva!? Can you fuck the fairy!?... Sorry, Imp*!? What's the answer JnR!?
If you want to.
After Naomi, maybe not directly after, we'll get some backstory and development on our sidekick and long story short she might be getting a little jealous of all these sexually fulfilled women. You will get the opportunity to 'sate' her if you so choose. I haven't decided on the logistics of that yet. She might become big. MC might become small. Or both. I'm not personally into tiny girls with regular guys so I'm not planning that. Maybe one animation if you fairy fans ask really nicely. If I decide to make her big, which I'm leaning towards, she'll get a human form with hair and all. This will also be a mandatory story sequence, but again her scenes will be optional.

End Game - The Mistress Updates:
At the end of it all the game will have a change of pace as you get separated from the Mistress and have to decide what kind relationship you want with her when you get her back. This will be a big event with MC and Mistress backstory, and loads of new monster girls. Don't really know how many updates it will take because it'll be a multi-parter. Maybe 4-5?

Post Game - Maybe that wasn't really the End?:
If I can make it to the end of all of that I'll be happy... But if I'm still not happy, I have an idea for post game storyline where maybe we go back and add more scenes to old characters and maybe remix/crossover them. I can also just keep adding more characters but I'm gonna focus on what I have down already.

The Rest: Those are the main plot points of the future updates. There will be multiple regular characters alongside those updates. The kinks I have planned for sure are cuck queening (female cuckold) and consensual non-consent, and some of the other ones that are still up in the air are cosplay, somnophilia (MC sleeping), bondage, and voyeurism. If that list seems small, it's because not every character will have a strict fetish/kink but I will probably need to fill out a few more. So, open to suggestions.

In all I'm looking at maybe 8-10 updates to finish the End Game. At a rate of 1 update every ~2 months that's 16-20 months. Year and a bit sounds reasonable/achievable?
